If you're a collector of t-shirts, you know that your drawer space is very valuable. Cramming your t-shirts into a drawer can make them difficult to see and leave them wrinkled. There's an easy way to fold t-shirts so that you can see them perfectly while also doubling the space in your drawer. Follow these steps and be amazed!
Short Sleeved T-Shirt
1. Lay a short sleeved t-shirt flat out on a clean surface. Fold the right sleeve in towards the center of the shirt, essentially folding the t-shirt in thirds.
2. Repeat this step with the left side of the t-shirt. You should now have both sleeve edges at the center of the shirt and one very long rectangle.
3. Fold the bottom of the t-shirt up towards the center of the rectangle.
4. Repeat this step by folding the top of the t-shirt down towards the center of the rectangle.
5. Smooth out all edges. You now have a small, neat rectangle that you can stand upright inside of your dresser drawer, allowing you to see the t-shirt color and graphics clearly while creating extra drawer space.
Long Sleeved T-Shirt
1. Lay a long sleeved t-shirt flat out on a clean surface. Fold the right sleeve in towards the center, the same way you did with the short sleeved t-shirt.
2. Take the excess sleeve length and fold it backwards towards the outer edge of the t-shirt, creating a "t" shape.
3. Fold the remaining portion of the sleeve into a triangle towards the center portion of the t-shirt. The entire sleeve portion should now be within the parameters of the outside edge of the t-shirt.
4. Repeat this process with the left side of the t-shirt, folding the sleeve backwards into a "t" shape, then triangle until the sleeve is completely within the outside parameters of the t-shirt.
5. You should now have one long rectangle. Fold the bottom edge of the t-shirt upwards towards the center.
6. Fold the top edge of the t-shirt down towards the center, creating a small rectangle.
7. Place the small rectangle upright in your dresser drawer so that you can easily see the t-shirt and create double the space.
